[ToScenes] ?s=best Scenes 50 Shades Of Grey - Viral News
Fifty Shades of Grey may be a tale of romance (well, sort of) but there was definitely no love behind the scenes on the set of the first film.
The movie's director, Sam Taylor-Johnson, has made no secret of the fact that she wishes she hadn't made the film, despite it being the second-highest-grossing live-action film directed by a woman ever.
But now she's gone a step further with her criticisms, telling >The Hollywood Reporter that "every scene was fought over", as she and the author of the books, EL James, had "two different creative visions".
"Her vision versus mine ... they were polar opposite," she said. "Every scene was fought over. It was tough. It was like wading uphill through sticky tar.
"Her thing was, 'This is what the fans expect.' I'd be like, 'Well, let's try and hit those marks but create a new universe at the same time'."

"There weren't any flat-out [job] offers straight away," she said. "It was ego-denting, which may not have been a bad thing.
"At the same time, I was like, 'Oh, I still have to keep fighting for stuff.' I just thought it was going to come a lot easier."

And just in case there was any doubt, Sam recently said that she is "not going to ever watch" the sequels and that she has "literally zero interest" in the franchise. Ouch.
Fifty Shades Freed is due for release in February 2018, while Sam Taylor-Johnson's next project, Netflix series Gypsy, hits the streaming service on June 30.
