Darth Vader only has two scenes in Rogue One, but he dominates those two scenes like only Vader can. The results are pure delight and eye candy for fans.
Let’s go over the first scene.

Orson Krennic, director of the Death Star’s construction, travels to a fiery planet which we can only assume is Mustafar. Inside the black castle that is Krennic’s destination, a hooded figure enters a bacta tank chamber guarded by two of the Emperor’s red guards. The person inside the bacta tank is none other than Vader stripped of his armor and prosthetics. The hooded figure, a meek old man, tells his master that Krennic has arrived.

In a wide chamber like a courtroom, Krennic awaits Vader’s approach. Suddenly, a huge door opens vertically and Vader, now fully suited and armored, walks out amid clouds of fog.
Vader and the Emperor are displeased with the station’s setbacks, which happened under Krennic’s watch. After Vader informs Krennic of his precarious position, he lets the director off with a warning.
As Vader departs, however, Krennic pushes his luck by asking if Vader will speak to the Emperor about letting him remain in control of the Death Star. The Sith lord silences Krennic with a Force choke and a line destined to become iconic: “Be careful not to choke on your aspirations.”>

Vader’s second scene takes place at the very end of the film. It is well worth the wait.
Following the space battle over Scarif, Alderaanian rebel soldiers just downloaded the Death Star plans to a floppy disc-like hard drive. Now they desperately try to escape their larger vessel onto the smaller Tantive IV before the Imperials board them. When the soldiers try to open a corridor door, however, the power goes off. The door sticks with only a few inches open.
As the rebels try to force the door open the rest of the way, they hear a noise behind them. They turn. The other end of the corridor is all darkness. Suddenly they hear heavy breathing, and a crimson lightsaber ignites. The saber illuminates their enemy: it is Darth Vader.

The rebels shoot at Vader. He blocks their blasts with his saber. Then he rips their guns out of their hands with his powers. He Force chokes them. He levitates them and slams them into the ceiling. The rebels are no match for him whatsoever.
Rebel after rebel passes off the hard drive, desperate that it should make it to the Tantive IV. Finally, one last rebel slips the hard drive to a soldier on the other side of the door. That other soldier runs aboard the Tantive IV and unlocks the ship from the larger vessel. As the Tantive IV pulls away, Vader stalks to the edge of the hangar and watches his prey escape.
That was chilling just to describe. If you haven’t seen Rogue One yet, imagine how much more spine-curdling it is to see these scenes on the big screen.>Next: All The Star Wars Rebels Easter Eggs In Rogue One
